“Tropic Thunder” is a Hit!
“Tropic Thunder” was the movie that finally dethroned “The Dark Knight”. As Brewer said, “It had to happen some time.” “Tropic Thunder” premiered with $26 million and “The Dark Knight” dropped to $16.8 million this week. Here’s what the standings were:1. Tropic Thunder - $26 million
2. The Dark Knight - $16. 8 million
3. Star Wars: The Clone Wars - $15.5 million
4. Mirrors - $11.1 million
5. Pineapple Express - $10 million SourceI haven’t seen it yet but it’s in my list of movies to see along with the #4 and #5 films for this past weekend.
