Dame and Rachel Expand Her Brand
Damon Dash and his Wife Rachel Roy have joined forces to create the Jones Apparel Group. This company will develop, marked, and license the fashion brand named after Rachel.“Both Rachel and her clothing appeal to many audiences around the world, making her a widely renowned design talent,” said Dash in a statement. “Through this partnership, we will be able to explore new opportunities for Rachel Roy, the brand.”
They want to expand her brand further globally as well as open stand-alone retail stores. Source
Good for them (and by them I mean Rachel). I’ve been a fan of Rachel’s designs since she started. They’re classy, chic, incorporate great colors…but and however my pockets have always been a little too tight to afford it.
